How does Ext cope with Google SEO?
How does Ext cope with Google SEO?
Hi. I was wondering how Ext content is recognized by Google search engine.? Is there anything regarding Ext that might prevent my site from being high up in Google ranks? What are the areas I need to be careful about? Did anyone try to make a site thats lets say in top 10 results?

Turn off the javascript support in your browser then reload the page where you use Ext and see exactly the same that google crawler will index.
Use the force - read the source.
My ExtJS extensions can be found here: http://max-bazhenov.com/dev/

Anything that's loaded, displayed or generated using the Ext library will not be visible to Google or any other search engine as they don't process the javascript that is the base of the systems that are built. SE's index HTML and other fixed documents, but there just isn't a way to properly spider everything that javascript can do. Even if there was, this would still limit you to having one page in the listings (assuming that you're using the framework as it's intended for application development).
If you're looking for SEO then anything javascript is bad. Things like Ext can still have a place, but really only as a visual enhancement, and not a ranking or content enhancement.'Once again, fortune vomits on my eiderdown'

google know most formats
google know most formats
most of containers formats are indexed by google, it´s not a secret... but the content if indexed without structure, and a pure text not has vault for seo purposes, i think.
