Problem with not being able to modify the style after saving
Problem with not being able to modify the style after saving
Hi Support-team,
I have a problem that after moving away from a field where I just typed in a style and going back to a field the style can't be edited anymore. This problem occurs only when a project has been saved! I downloaded the latest version: 2.1.0 build 588.
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new project
2. Add a panel
3. Add a display field to the panel
4. Search for style (when focus is on field)
5. Click on the style edit icon:
6. Modify the display field style with 'text-align: center'
7. Click on design
8. Save the project!!!
9. Put the focus unto the panel
10. Put the focus unto the display field again
11. Search for style
12. Click on the style edit icon: the style code view is shown but now can't be edited anymore
I hope you can reproduce and solve this problem.
Thanks in advance!

The same problem occurs with the html property. Editing the styles in css files under resources goes ok.

I cannot reproduce this in Build 588. Any additional steps? Could you create a video in case we are missing a step?

Hi Aaron,
I am sorry... when I was re-writing the report into the official bug template format, I also tested my reproducion steps. I got the same results as you: now I can't reproduce the problem anymore. I had it once afterwards, but I don't know how to reproduce the problem. Since I am working in Architect quite a lot now I will keep my eyes open and report back if anything occurs again. The only way to unlock the code is to restart and go to the same code again.

Thanks. There is a bug that we are aware of in the current build.

Note that switching components and/or dragging a new component out to the inspector will allow you to proceed without restarting architect.Aaron Conran

Indeed looks like the same behaviour. I will wait until the next update. Thanks!

Doing some cleanup and marking this as fixed as a DUP of DSGNR-2294.

Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for
a bug in our system
in
a recent build.
