Default Answered: Beta 3 upgrade problems

    Answered: Beta 3 upgrade problems

    Two questions:
    • Does "Sencha Command" replace "Sencha SDK Tools"? Can I uninstall the SDK Tools 2.0 beta?
    • When I try to upgrade my app by doing this:
      Code:
      cd sencha-touch-2.1.0-beta3
      sencha app upgrade /path/to/my/app
      I get this error:
      Code:
      Sencha Cmd v3.0.0.122
      [INFO ] init-properties:
      [INFO ] init-antcontrib:
      [INFO ] init-sencha-command:
      [INFO ] init:
      [INFO ] -before-app-upgrade:
      [INFO ] app-upgrade-impl:
[ERROR] UNHANDLED EXCEPTION : Net Yet Implemented

  2. We disabled the app upgrading but should be fixed for next release. Since I have to test many versions I have to keep SDK Tools 2 beta 3 around but just change my path to disable/enable Sencha Cmd 3 but Sencha Cmd 3 does replace SDK Tools 2 beta 3

For future releases, it would be helpful to have release notes for Sencha Command, like you have for Sencha Touch. There are a lot of changes in this release (new name, new sdk location, some new ant configs) that don't seem to be documented anywhere.

Would agree. The reason for the new name and everything is it was a complete rewrite.
