Sencha just released yesterday the Sencha Eclipse plugin.

This plugin allows you to use autocompletion for ExtJS 4 in Eclipse, the same way as you have it for Java code.

The plugin is part of Sencha Complete. Pls take a look: http://www.sencha.com/products/complete-team

It's unclear if the plugin is available outside of the "team" bundle - do you know?

    Thanks!

I'm guessing it's not available standalone?

No not that I'm aware of.
Not unless Sencha change their stance which I hope they will if they see extra potential income from selling it stand alone

Default Another Vote for Standalone Version

    Another Vote for Standalone Version

A standalone version of this plugin would be of great assistance to developers not needing all of the Complete functionality, as well as developers already using another Eclipse-based product like Aptana Studio.

    How about Visual Studio?

The Eclipse plugin looks very cool.

Are there any plans for something similar for Visual Studio?

I'm sure if enough people asked for it you could get it standalone...
