    We too are a small development shop (2 developers) in NZ and would like the benefits of the Desktop Packager. Show of hands as to how may would be interested in combinig to form a 'virtual' team?

    And exactly what system resources are available? I use AIR with Ext3. It is way too hard to make Ext4 work due to large numbers of templates that need to be pre-compiled to get around the AIR security sandbox. So, to be able to use Ext4 and get access to sound, video, sqllite, file system, even native extentions, etc would be great. Does the packager allow that? Do the others mentioned (Tide, appjs,..?) allow that?

    ie how doe they compare to AIR in terms of functionality?

    Any news in 2013? Are you planning any changes in licensing policy ? Would by possible to buy Desktop Packager separately?
