    Default [4.1.1 GA] LineSeries label display option doesn't work well

    [4.1.1 GA] LineSeries label display option doesn't work well

    REQUIRED INFORMATION

    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 4.1.1 GA
    Browser versions tested against:
    • Chrome
    • FireFox
    • IE9
    Description:
    • The label "display" option doesn't work well with LineSeries. I didn't test with another type of series.
    • I can't see any difference between the "insideEnd", "insideStart", "middle", "outside" options. They all renders the labels behind the markers. However, I am not 100% sure what exactly effect they should produce because of the lack of the details in the Docs.
    • The "over" option renders the labels above the chart. But I would expected the labels to be rendered over the markers.
    • The "rotate" and "under"options doesn't render the labels well. Please look at the screenshots or run the sample to see.
    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • Please just run the sample.
    The result that was expected:
    • A possibility to manage how the labels are displayed.
    The result that occurs instead:
    • Please see the screenshots.
    Test Case:

    Code:
    <html>
    <head>
        <title>Chart series label display</title>

        <link type="text/css" rel="stylesheet" href="../resources/css/ext-all.css" />

        <script type="text/javascript" src="../ext-all.js"></script>

        <script type="text/javascript">
            var mainCt;

            var addChart = function (labelDisplay) {
                var p = Ext.create("Ext.panel.Panel", {

    Hi Mitchell,

    Thank you!

    Again, I didn't get an email notification

    Could you suggest something to try? I checked my settings, there is "Instantly, using email".

    Unfortunately, I do not have any. I was unable to spend enough time to investigate this problem.
