    Audio in timeline

To make animations that are closely in sync with sound it would be neccesary to have the possibility to add one or more audiofiles in the timeline, preferably with a graphical interpretation (waveform). Is there a technological limitation that prevents this?

Thanks for the input! It might be possible in the future, but from our current research it looks unfeasible to add graphical visualization of sound files at this point. If you need just sound in general, there are several other threads on utilizing third-party sound libraries.

Thanks for your reply. Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing: I'm not talking about adding audio visualisations to the canvas itself, but to the timeline at the top of screen. I can't talk for other users but to me at least, that would add tremendous value to Sencha Animator (since my job consists mostly of syncronizing animations to audiofiles/speak).
