HOLY #!%&$, you took away a feature(promote to class on grid columns)

I just upgraded architect after being told prompted(upgraded from 2.1.0 build 613 to build 637)

I was using an override on an initcomponent to determine whether a column should show in a grid based on a global variable.
using event listeners to accomplish the same thing was causing errors:

I just tried to promote to class on my grid column(something I did last week!), and it is grayed out.
Is this on purpose, or a bug?

Thanks for reporting! A bug report has been filed will be fixed in a future build.

Has this been fixed? I'm using 2.1 build 676 and column still can't be promoted to class.

No.

I believe its related to the following bug where promoted classes don't take into account their references.
