Sencha Touch and Windows 8 Scrolling Issues

Greetings,

I have tried my sencha touch 2 app and also the kitchen sink app just to test but when running windows 8 with a touchscreen monitor i am no longer able to scroll vertical or horizontal in Google chrome. Windows 7 with the same touch panel it worked great but however in windows 8 it just doesnt do a thing. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello, I'm facing same issues with Windows 8.
By mouse everything works as expected, but by finger not.

Win8 Professional (RTM 6.2 Build 9200)
Chrome 21.0.1180.89

For example:
The carousell does not react on swiping gestures by finger.
But if you first douple-tap and drag then the swiping works!

For Win7 there was a setting in "pen and touch" (touchpc.cpl) to deactivate
"Turn on Single Finger Panning" as described here:

For Win8 I don't have this setting and found no possibility to get it working like on Win7.
Even with the Chrome-Metro-App not.

Has anyone a clue to witch the problem is related (Win8 / Driver / Chrome / Sencha / ...) ?

Can anyone from Sencha maybe shed some light on this? have you guys tried using Windows 8? is it even a windows 8 issue? When chrome updated to 22 on my windows 7 machine things also stopped working i had to revert to chrome 21.

Please let me know anything you can

With the release of the Windows 8 touch platform rather soon, this is going to become a very big issue quickly. Does anyone have any insights?

BTW I do know that a beta version of safari was doing ok on the beta version of 8 for us but it eventually would bog down and no long scroll properly.

I have addressed this issue in August already... but no reply from anyone at Sencha.

Could you just give a quick feedback on this so we can see how to move on...? We can't ignore this, Windows 8 will open a huge market for touch enabled apps!

Using Chrome 22 on Win 8 and launching the kitchensink I can swipe in the carousel demo for both directions just fine.

I have just tried this with Windows 8 and Chrome 22 and using Kitchen sink on your sencha.com and i was unable to swipe through... any suggestions on what to try?
