More over it is also joke on religious issue.
I do not think that anybody would like if somebody would joke on his family.

The video is funny, not sure how you got to joking about his family or the video being a religious issue. He is pointing out behavior in ruby/js that isn't expected in a joking manner. I don't understand how someone would get offended by this video.

About js and ruby. Do not like language try to develop better...
JavaScript give salary on many developers on this forum... As for me I do not joke on js...
I do not like ruby but I either do not joke on it...
Also I do not like typescript but I do not joke on it...

It is js. Every language has much tricks and such thing.
After C++ or assembler I like js as the best language I have ever have deal. Also maybe Scala.
Anyway it is not good to show finger and joke on language.

Ok, so I get the religion thing but you need to take something like this with a grain of salt.

Calm down a little. I am one of those people that use JavaScript daily and get paid to use it. A joke is a joke, don't take things too seriously. I don't like Perl but a friend of mine uses it all the time and we joke back and forth because it's a joke. It makes us laugh and when working long hours joking around is fantastic.

I think that is a bit of a stretch but one person is not like the other. I personally joke about my family with others, when it's an obvious joke I don't take it seriously. Now if it's not a joke, different matter.
