I saw that there was a discussion whether to make the next version open source or not.
I think that two things are very important:
1. Jack should get the recognition and pay for his giant effort.
2. People should feel safe using this amazing lib for the long term.
What do you think about this:
I think that the best way is to sell product except for the support which is a great idea.
There could be a simple editor that will be connected to the documentation and while hovering or clicking on a word in the code you`ll get the matched documentation on the side of the screen.
That could be very useful for learning the examples.
You can protect this product easily by "selling" a password and making use of the product only over the web.
Each time there there will be a new release you can charge a small upgrade fee.
