This new search thing makes these forums useless to me. It just hangs...

no matter what I do it just expands, I enter a search term, hit return... nothing. ever.

Mountain Lion, Safari, latest of everything.

Please fix or bring back the functional search.

Can you look for any errors and also what search term, conditions and forums are you searching so I can try to reproduce.

I just searched for 'grid' with no conditions or forums on Mountain Lion 10.8.2 with Safari 6.0.1 (8536.26.14) and things work for me. I also tried to update but there are no new updates available.

sorry for being snarky. it usually hangs for me.

just went back and ran "textarea expand" which failed before and it worked.

didn't have web inspector open before. didn't see an error message.

There was just a lengthy outage on the sencha forum. Since it coincided with the Amazon EC2 outage that affected a ton of sites, I'm going to assume that was the problem.

I've already provided a lot of feedback on where the search is still lacking, but so far all I get is "not a priority at this time."
