    Default Unanswered: Floating Toolbar Issue

    Unanswered: Floating Toolbar Issue

I am trying to create a floating toolbar (xtype: container) that has a small margin and is docked to the bottom of a main container. The main container would have a card layout, so I could place multiple views in it, all having the same floating toolbar. I want the contents of the main container to be visible behind the toolbar, and the toolbar and main container need to be interactive at the same time (i.e. not modal). Any ideas on how to implement this? I have tried quite a few solutions with no success. Thanks in advance for your help.

The idea is to have a background container (blue) with an overlay toolbar (grey). The toolbar will have a margin, so the user can see the background container all around the toolbar. Also, the background container and toolbar need to be active (so I believe that rules out a modal approach). There will be a button to hide the toolbar, in order to increase screen space if needed. Any ideas how to implement this?
