localstorage takes very long to save to

Hi there,
I have an app which has to save 1300 records at once.
On slow devices this takes almost a minute.

Any advice how to speed things up?

Maybe SQLite Proxy is faster:

For now we are storing all items into a single record of a different localstorage.
then extract it into a new store, which is not saved.

That way we are saving about 90% of the time.
