Sencha Touch 2.x: Q&A /
I tried this the other day with no luck. Is this a solution for native apps or just web apps?
Any other app.js or packager.json settings needed? My native app still displays the letterbox style...
Thanks!

I had the same problem, but after upgrading to 2.1 it was gone and worked just fint on iPhone5.
Hi hotdb, I have tried with 2.1 but doesn't work. Have you modified some others files?
Thanks

I have this problem now. Never tried on iPhone5 before but just upgraded to touch 2.2 GA and need new screen shots for AppStore
@svenna
you can solve this by upgrading to touch latest version or it can also be done by adding iphone 5 screen size splash to your xcode project .

Thanks for the reply.
However I don't have an xcode project, but I've added the image to the resource folder and to app.js
I'm using the latest Touch (afaik) 2.2.0 released on the blog April 15th (not yet released on the support pages..)
edit: Also tried a new default generated application, with the same issue. Using Cmd 3.1.1.274 and touch 2.2.0 GA

I guess I've miss read the workaround. I had added the 640x1096 image to resources/startup/640x1096.png based on a forum post, but now found this bug (still open)
http://www.sencha.com/forum/showthre...172#post958172
After adding a 640x1136 image to resources/loading/Default-568h@2x.png the build is working
Since the bug is open, and I've just tested this on 2.2 I guess upgrading does not help, yet.
