I have installed Sencha CMD. Is there any guide that explains how to minify an app?

In the guides title there should be a group of guides for Sencha Cmd in the API Docs.

Is SDK tool still required? Download page makes it seem like it was deprecated. Docs make references to it. I'm confused.

Please note: Sencha SDK Tools are designed to be used with Sencha Touch 2 and Ext JS 4.0 and are deprecated for the most current framework releases. For the current version of Sencha’s build tools, please refer to Sencha Cmd, our unified tool for Sencha’s JavaScript frameworks.Everytime I try to build it states that I need SDK tools. Then when I go to download the SDK tools you guys show this:
I am using the latest ST2 2.1. What is true? Need SDK or don't need SDK?
