Looks like we can't reproduce the issue or there's a problem in the test case provided.

    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 4.1.1a
    Browser versions tested against:
    • Chrome
    Description:
    • If you try to set the text of a selected node. The highlighted disappear.
    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • Juste try to set the text of selected node in a tree
