I downloaded the 2.1 commercial from sencha support as well - expecting the integrated charts.
Like oatkins I found it was missing. It is present in the nightly builds.
Thanks - Just had a better look in the support site and discovered the Sencha complete download. As you say it has the full touch library with integrated charts.
The reason for this is the charts in the ST 2.1.0 gpl is gpl. Commercial ST 2.1.0 cannot be mixed with gpl version so you have to pay for the commercial license of the charts which as said is included in Sencha Complete.
Any code that touches gpl code is gpl. So if you were to take commercial ST 2.1.0 and mix in the gpl charts then that would make the commercial ST 2.1.0 now gpl.
Since my comment on the blog post seems to be stuck in moderation (given a more recent comment was let through), I'm going to ask again here.
Will sencha provide a mechanism for existing customers of ExtJS and Architect to obtain ST charting without having to buy unnecessary licenses for ExtJS and Architect? Or are the existing customers who've invested in the sencha platform put out in the cold on this one?
Ugh, that's exactly the wrong response. Be clear and be public.
I'm not going to contact sales. It's your job to have a transparent pricing structure, not mine.
IMO it is transparent. It's not listed so that would tell me it's not available outside of Sencha Complete but sales may work with you. If you don't want to contact them that is your choice.
