    Unanswered: Sencha Touch 2.1 problem

    Hey guys,

    I just updated my sencha touch. But when i start it, it is using a very strange layout ( it looks like that it is not loading my own css file). Is that a bug or do i need to change something.

    Here is a screenshot how it look

    If you have your own css file, you will have to add it to the app.json file. Find the following block of code and add it in there.

    "css": [
    {
    "path": "resources/css/app.css",
    "update": "delta"
    },
    {
    ..put in here..
    }
    ],

    Thanks for the response. But i'm not using a json file currently. In my version i just add the css file to a html file like so
    <link rel="stylesheet" href="touch/resources/css/main.css" type="text/css">

    it is working in sencha touch 2.0.1 but not in 2.1

    is it really necressary to add it in a json file?

    Well Sencha 2 builds the index file for you doesn't it, and it uses the app.json file in the process. I have my custom stylesheet in the way I said above and it works.

    I'm assuming that you didn't build the app using SenchaCmd then if you don't have an app.json file? I'd recommend that you do as it does a lot of the work for you.

    if you are building css files from scss, make sure, that your "config.rb" has correct path to sdk folder. Note that now "sdk" folder is renamed to "touch", so you may have to fix that. Then compile your scss and try again...

    that fixed a lot for me, but I admit, I still have some strange layouts (probably because different sencha theme css ), specially in lists that I changed from dataview (since now lists can have components).
