    Why not just use Sencha Touch 2 forms?

    So far sounds like you can dump jQuery Mobile and use Sencha Touch only.

    To do so in Sencha I usually create a new baseCls for my field elements.
    Before I do so, I copy the stuff from sencha (chrome - select input field and copy the stuff from x-field ...)

    That could be something similar to the following:

    Code:
    .baseClsName-field{
      background: ...;
      display: -webkit-box;
      display: box;
      min-height: 2.5em;

      .x-form-label{
        white-space: nowrap;
        overflow: hidden;
        text-overflow: ellipsis;

        text-shadow: white 0 1px 1px;
        color: $baseClsColor;
        padding: 0;
        display: -webkit-box !important;
        background-color: #F7F7F7;

        span{
          font-size: 1em;
          font-weight: normal;
        }
      }

      .x-component-outer{
        -webkit-box-flex: 1;

        .x-field-input{
          width: 100%;
          position: relative;
          min-width: 3.7em;
          padding: 0;

          input{
            -webkit-user-select: text;
          }

          .x-input-el{

          }

          .x-clear-icon{
          }
        }
      }
    }
    I hope this keeps you from adding jQuery into Sencha
