    Unanswered: List not displaying without a fixed height

    Hi all,
    I create a list in sencha and it's only displayed when i set it's height otherwise it doesn't get displayed...
    Below is my code :
    {
    xtype: 'list',
    height: 800, //height specified
    id: 'noteslist',
    itemTpl: '{note_text}',
    store: 'Notes'
    }
    but when i don't specify height or set it 100% list is not displayed...

    Please help me to get this solved...

    Applying
    Code:
    layout: 'fit'

    what is the layout of the parent element.
    Can you check in chrome if the parent element covers the full screen?
