    ExtJS Candlestick and financial charting

    At EdgeUX we love financial charting. The charting capabilities within ExtJS are good but need extending to get the most out of them.

    This morning we have posted a demo of one of our financial charts on our website. It demonstrates a Candlestick chart which we wrote completely from scratch using ExtJS charting as a base.

    CandleDemo.png

    It is 100% native ExtJS so integrates perfectly with ExtJS stores and you can use it exactly as you would any other ExtJS chart. The documentation for the Candlestick can be found here.

    The use of our charting extensions including this one have a commercial license so if you are interested in using them please purchase them or contact us via our website.

    Thanks,
    Brett Hannah

    Looks good. Having developed several portfolio managers, I always see the need for more advanced financial charting.

    Regards,
    Scott.

    I have also done some financial apps with Ext JS and yes, there was a need for a similar charting style.

    In Chrome I get:

    Uncaught TypeError: Property 'undefined' of object #<Object> is not a function

    In Firefox:

    Ext[X.D] is not a function

    eval() 9 (regel 1)
    all-classes.js()

    IE (dutch, but you can see where it goes wrong):

    SCRIPT438: De eigenschap of methode undefined wordt niet ondersteund door dit object
    all-classes.js, regel 1 teken 612913

    Hi Johan,

    Thanks for catching that. We had a slight problem with our build process.

    Should be up and running again now.

    Best regards,
