Unanswered: Ext.navigation.View.pop() is triggering the "show" event on the popped element

I'm trying to use a navigation view to handle transitions in my app but I'm having trouble with the "show" event on the child views.

I'm trying to detect when the child components become active so that I can pass some info to the native container. But when I call navigationView.pop() it's triggering the show event on both the newly active view (desired) and the popped view (not desired).

Is there a better event to be listening for?

I'd really like to hear the official way to go about this but for now I put a listener in the navigation view's controller for the activeitemchange event and then fired a custom event to the newly activated card that I'm then listening for instead of the show event.

Is there a built-in way to do this? Or is my hack the right way to go about it?
