we could start a whole slew of Ext-ended english words...

i'll be the first on the bandwagon:
"I Ext-identally stumbled across this wicked cool framework a little over a year ago, back in the old yui-ext days, and i've been hooked ever since!"
the use of Ext-identally, or Ext-idental, or any other derivative thereof is henceforth copyrighted by yours truly.

No, those names are retarded, ExtJS definately makes more sense then those (someone, I'm assuming a self-respecting programmer, actually named something he wrote "Qooxdoo"?)It makes as much sense as "Dojo" or "MooTools" Or "Qooxdoo"...
I guess if you wanted to get technical about it though, Ext started as an extension for the YUI library, so at that time it really did mean extension.Code:class ExtJS Extends JavaScript
