Default Error building packages - stbuild is not yet supported on linux

Error building packages - stbuild is not yet supported on linux

Running Cmd 3.0.0.250 on Centos 6 64-bit, and I'm getting

    Code:
[ERR] stbuild is not yet supported on linux
    trying to build packages with
    Code:
    sencha package build packager.json
I am able to build the app successfully with sencha app build.

Does the packager really not work on Linux, or is this message indicating some other problem?

If you are trying to create a native packaged app then the packager does need to work on linux. If you are wanting to stay as a web app then you shouldn't use that command.

Yes, I am trying to build a native package for distribution.

Is the packager supposed to work on Linux?

It states that it does not work in linux so OS X and Windows are the only OSs that are supported currently.
