Default Error stbuild exited with non-zero code 3

Error stbuild exited with non-zero code 3

    Hello,

I am not able to package my app, I get this error:

Type is not convertible to string
Error stbuild exited with non-zero code 3

I have not found any information about it in the forum, so I have no idea how to solve the problem. Thank you.

this is due to an error in Architect that thinks versionCode is an integer where in reality Cmd and stbuild needs it to be a string

open your packager.json and change versionCode from 1 => "1" or whatever code you have

Thank you very much for your reply. When I change versioncode as a string in my .json and then I open my project with sencha architect, the versioncode change again. How can I solve this problem?

You are correct and I'm working on getting this hot patched.

Work around is to run the Sencha Cmd 'commands' from the command line instead of utilizing Architect.

I get the same error. I put "" around versionCode like you suggested, but it still doesn't work when I try to package in Architect. This is the packager. Any ideas?

Ok... well you shouldn't need to add any quotes then.

I'm seeing this: Error copying embedded provision profile heightpredictor to ../build/\HeightPred
    ictor.app\embedded.mobileprovision

Maybe try changing your output to ..\build\ (windows style)

    Hello.
I am having the same issue with packaging native app.
    Here is my packager.json - http://pastebin.com/TU1Pfqdr
I've changed / to \\ (windows + ) and didn't changed "versionCode":"1", as you can see from my file.

    however, it doesn't matter - 1 or "1" - returns code 3.
please help me with solving this problem.

Run sencha app package run packager.json from the sencha project folder instead of packages folder
