So Architect is not able to Deploy for Android at all?
So Architect is not able to Deploy for Android at all?
Dear Phil is this correct?
So Architect is not able to Deploy for Android at all?
-------
A comment by Phil.Strong on 'guide deploy' was posted on the Sencha Documentation:
Sencha Cmd and more specifically stbuild which does the packaging and simulating doesn't actually support emulating/simulating on Android. The way to do that is to pacakge your project into an apk and then use that to simulate using adb command. http://developer.android.com/tools/help/adb.html#move

Yes of course it can. It can create a package it just doesn't support simulating to Android Emulator. Couldn't tell you why that is. Putting the packaged apk onto a device and/or emulating with it requires some Android tools.

It is not so much a problem that things do not work currently, it is a problem that it is not communicated properly.
If this was mentioned somewhere it would have saved me hours and hours of trying.
In the documents it shows how it should work but it does't and never has.
Why is the communication of Sencha so poor?
Unbelievable...

You're right. I'll contact the Cmd team and Touch team to make sure they include these instructions. I'll also be sure to include these instructions in the Architect docs. I'm creating a ticket right now.
