Default Unanswered: Problems Deploying Sencha Touch 2 in Windows 8 App

Unanswered: Problems Deploying Sencha Touch 2 in Windows 8 App

Hey everybody, I have not been able to find the answer to this anywhere. I am trying to add Sencha Touch 2 to a windows app for Windows 8, but I keep getting errors that say the body hasn't been created yet. When I strip everything else out so there is only a lunch function and an alert, the screen is blank and never calls the alert.

Is Sencha Touch not compatible inside Windows 8 apps?

    Default Confused

    Confused

What is the fundamental difference between a Windows 8 phone, a windows based tablet and a desktop having Windows OS, if any ? From what I understand, a touch app needs to be deployed on a web server to render & function itself correctly. Will the new version package it, similar to Phonegap, for Windows OS, making it act like native ? Also, can a non touch version of the app be packaged, like a desktop app, eliminating the need of a web server ?
