Importing .js file into architect. Any update on this feature ?
Importing .js file into architect. Any update on this feature ?
Some posts mention that Sencha team is working on this feature. I have many .js files written before we bought Architect. It would be great help even if there is any procedure/work around to get external models/views into architect. Any utility to convert .js file into xdc file ? IF not, any specification of xdc file ?
Import whole external project would next one, but just above should be help for now.
Thanks.

We currently have no intent, nor have we ever stated that you will be able to import arbitrary JavaScript into Architect and have it editable within the Design view. JS is such a dynamic language that this would simply be too hard to tackle.
On the other hand, you are more than welcome to include additional JS files via Resources and hand edit them.Aaron Conran

Thanks. I believe if we convert each file to xdc externally, that would work right ? Is it feasible ? If yes, any specifications of xdc ?
Thank again.
