I'm developing a Sencha 2.1 application using local storage. Is it necessary to use the idProperty config option and have an id field defined in the model for everything to work properly?

Actually there is a bug that if you have a value for the id field it won't sync to localstorage. I haven't tried in what will be 2.1.1 or 2.2.0 yet
