    When I add <inherits name='com.sencha.gxt.ui.GXT'/> to the .gwt.xml even the hello world application stops working, so, I don't know what to do

    I don't really understand but it works now. evidently it was just a simple mistake I didn't notice.

    Sorry you're having trouble. Can you please give us some additional information as it is impossible to deduce what's going on.

    What do you mean by "stops working?" Is there a stacktrace? Can you post your entire gwt.xml file?

    In general when asking for help, it's a good idea to provide as much information in as succinct a manner as possible.
