    Hello everybody,

I have Architect 2.1 but it doesn't ask me for update to 2.2.
Do I have to do something for this or I have to wait until you process all user accounts for the update ?

    Regards,
    Razvan

Download it again and install manually.
The old project will be automatically converted.

Default not quite yet ready for primetime

not quite yet ready for primetime

Downloaded and installed 2.2. Used it for about half a day. I'm really excited about it having multiple documents (eg can have a model and a store open), and the search, but.. It's already crashed on me a couple of times. When opening a project, there'll be unsaved changes (... how? I haven't changed anything yet?). While the new search feature is great, they've also added (as far as I know, because it never happened to me in 2.1) the ability to quickly delete a bunch of work. Press shift-delete on an item in your project tree, and it's gone. It's happened to me more than once already while attempting to clean up code in the document window, I somehow was able to delete huge chunks of code with no warning when focus was transferred to the project tree. I think the keyboard shortcut for deleting project entities is unnecessary. I've also had an instance where after quitting architect, the sencha-ion-helper process continues to run and use 150% cpu (one and a half cores going at full throttle). Hopefully Sencha can address these issues quickly, because the good parts of this update are extremely helpful!

Architect 2.2 went out yesterday for those of you that want to give it a try.

Our approach is to release the executables a week before the autoupdate to iron out any possible kinks for the masses while giving early adopters a week of using the newest stuff.

Remember that you can always install minor updates side by side by installing in a different directory. This way you can install Architect 2.2 and easily go back to Architect 2.1 if you need to. (Of course you would have to use the original version of the project, once a project has been upgraded to 2.2, it cannot be opened in 2.1.)

Thanks for checking it out. We fixed a bug today re: shift delete when in code editor. Shift+Delete has always deleted the inspector node. The bug is when you are inside of the code editor, it should not! This will be fixed with the auto update.

Re: your project being dirty on open, would you be able to share a project with us that illustrates this behavior? You can share it with us at architect.feedback at sencha.com.

Any crash reports would be appreciated as well. Thanks
