Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for EXTJS-8621 in a recent build.

    Default [4.1.1] MessageBox is shown behind the "regular" modal windows.

    [4.1.1] MessageBox is shown behind the "regular" modal windows.

    This is not a bug per se, but feels like an inconsistency.

    Try to run this code in the console on the page with ExtJS loaded for example on the official docs: http://docs.sencha.com/ext-js/4-2/
    Code:
    var win = new Ext.Window({ title : 'yo', height : 100, width : 100, modal : true })

    win.show()

    Ext.MessageBox.show({ title : 'Error', msg : "msg", modal : true, icon : Ext.MessageBox.ERROR, buttons : Ext.MessageBox.OK });
    As you can see, the message box is shown behind the "regular" modal window. I think this is not intuitive, as message box is considered a "special", "system" popup (native "alert" even blocks the code for example) and is expected to be shown above any "regular" windows.
