SIO SDK 0.7.10 Released

We just updated the SDK and the documentation.


This release includes several fixes that will improve the reliability of an apps connection to sencha.io. We encourage you to update your applications as soon as possible.

Hi,

Do you encourage us to update to this version even for an app which will be submitted tomorrow for the HTML5 contest? Does this version is more stable than 0.7.8 and enough tested to do the switch? (many issues in device communication when using user.send() with 0.7.8).

Please upgrade if you have time to re-test your application before the deadline.

We have been getting feedback directly from other users and have been observing the real-world requests from app developers over the few weeks and have made these changes.

The addition of the expires field should be useful if you were sending a lot of status type messages where you don't want the messages to be sent to the server unless they can be sent in a specific amount of time.

We have also made many adjustments to our server infrastructure to help ensure the stability and reliability of the system.

I finally upgraded and, after many tests, found that this version is much more reliable than 0.7.8.
