Dear,

I m currently evaluating Desktop Packager.
When I try to open the example PackagingTool.xda with Architect : it says :

This project was created by a later version of Architect and cannot be opened. Please upgrade Architect and try again.

After verification, I have the latest version 2.1.0 build 678.

Oops! We seem to have used Sencha Architect 2.2 Beta to build this example/tool. Who wouldn't? It's so much better than 2.1 Hehe.

Thank you for pointing this out, my apologies for using a non-GM version of Architect. Fortunately Sencha Architect 2.2 is on the brink of a GM release, as is Ext JS 4.2. Going to ping the Architect team to see what the downgrade process looks like. Sorry again.

My fingers crossed for the next release of Sencha Architect. I have to say, it has a lot to do to improve. Code formatting, component json view, which exists in 1.x. And it would be great to have a component path calculator if the source and the target is given, and much more...

That's great input elgs, I am certain the team would like to hear the feedback on their forums. From what I can tell, the code formatting and editor in general has had some nice improvements.

I just confirmed that the released Architect 2.2 opens and publishes the sample PackagingTool.xda and that Sencha Desktop Packager can then package it.
