Success! Looks like we've fixed this one. According to our records the fix was applied for a bug in our system in a recent build.

    Description
    When I select an item the vertical scroll bar is set to a wrong position.

    Run mode
    Run mode Development mode, production mode.

    Steps to reproduce the problem
    1. Open http://www.sencha.com/examples/#ExamplePlace:basictree
    2. Click "Expand all" button
    3. Scroll down and select Mozart node
    4. Scroll up and select Beethoven node

    Expected result
    Scroll bar at the top, Beethoven node visualized.

    Actual result
    The vertical scroll bar is set to the middle of the panel, Beethoven node not visible.

    This appears to be fixed with 3.0.4.

    If you can demonstrate it being broken in 3.0.4 we will reopen. This is related to our Jira issue 1887 which is closed.
