Default IE Grid displays all content in left column

IE Grid displays all content in left column

Strange bug on my implementation of an array-loaded grid: All the data cells are left aligned in each row, right on top of each other. IE's DevToolbar Dom Inspector says they don't have a "left:...px" property set.

Any idea what might be causing this?

Just noticed that it renders fine until my dojo-layout trigger function runs it's layout panels routine....

No problem with your library, then - just my environment.

You're mixing Dojo (Shudder!) with YUI?

Dojo is dodgy IMO. Spaghetti, undocumented code, bad browser compatibility, slow performance.

Unfortunately I don't know what that code is doing that could mess up the grid's layout. If you are able to isolate it and figure out what is wrong, I'd be willing to look at creating a work around.

I'm seriously considering dropping Dojo entirely. I sure like their templating system for fallback content, and am finally getting a hang of extending their widgets, but it's just a nightmare to debug and figure out how to do advanced stuff (there being so little documentation).

I'm only mixing because I'm in transition This problem went away when I used Dojo to trigger the rendering of the grid.

    Thanks for the replies!
