Default binding boolean to a CheckBox field

binding boolean to a CheckBox field

hi. this is a two-part question.

    1) i have a simple model data object with a field of a boolean type. i was wondering if it possible to bind it to a CheckBox field?

    2) is it possible to nest such a CheckBox field in an EditorGrid as a value? just to be clear, i am not looking to use CheckBox as a way to select rows in a grid, but rather as a value representing a boolean field of my model data.

    thank you!

    1) Yes, a CheckBox is a Field, and can be used in FieldBinding.

    2) Yes, you can use a CheckBox field in editing, same as any other Field - see http://www.sencha.com/examples-2/#editablegrid or http://www.sencha.com/examples-2/#roweditorgrid for two different ways this could be achieved.
