Unanswered: Painted not Firing When Using renderTo
How can I get the painted event to fire after I add an item to the dom using the renderTo property?

This is firing for me using ST 2.1.1:
Although I usually don't recommend using renderTo but adding a component to a container and using layout/cssCode:new Ext.Component({ renderTo : Ext.Viewport.innerElement, width : 400, height : 400, html : 'hi', listeners : { painted : function() { console.log('painted'); } } });Mitchell Simoens @SenchaMitch
