    Retrieving a device's UUID


    I see it's possible to retrieve a mobile device's uuid, I assume this includes the IMEI of a handset?

    I did some more reading on this and it looks like iOS no longer allows the uuid to be retrieved, is that correct or have I got that wrong?

    I would like to be able to retrieve the device IMEI where possible as part of something I am working on.

    The only way to access any of those ID's is by using phone gap or rolling your own native client. True, uuid is no longer supported.
