New Ext JS book available: Mastering Ext JS

    Hi guys!

I'm so happy no announce my new Ext JS 4 book called Mastering Ext JS, published by Packt Publishing!
The book is not finished yet, but the RAW (read as we write) version is already available.
In this book I demonstrate how to create a complete Ext JS application, from the directory structure to bundling for production.
Some things you can find on the book: dynamic menus, open a tab dynamically, master-detail information, charts, export to image, pdf and excel, MVC, reuse of code, abstract classes, how to use Ext.ComponentQuery, general tips and tricks that can help a developer's life e much more.

I hope you enjoy it, was written with love to the Sencha community!

The price for the print + eBook combo at the link you specified is $25.00, but when I add that to my cart the price suddenly jumps up to $39.99.

    What is the true price?

What minor version of ExtJS 4.x is this based on? With how fast Sencha changes their APIs and cmd tools, how relevant will this book be in 6 months?

    Ext JS 4.2.0

This book does not teach you Ext JS basics, but how to do a complete application step by step using the MVC architecture.
The book focuses on best practices, discuss a little bit of server side, among other things.

    Loine,

Thank you for your work. I looked at ToC and the book seems to be very useful.
I couldn't order the book though. It declined all my three cards.

I've just successfully purchased it today, via the packt app, using Paypal. They did have an issue a while back with accepting cards, but looks like it may have been fixed.
