    Or, in your Application's SASS, override the vars which set these things:

    The grey theme has these settings:

    Code:
    $tab-base-color: #eaeaea !default;
    $tab-base-color-disabled: #eeeeee !default;

    $tab-color-active: #333333 !default;
    $tab-color-disabled: #b7b7b7 !default;

    $tab-border-color-disabled: #dadada !default;

    $tab-background-gradient: color-stops(#dcdcdc, #eaeaea) !default;
    $tab-background-gradient-over: color-stops(#ffffff, #f0f0f0) !default;
    $tab-background-gradient-active: color-stops(#ffffff, #eaeaea) !default;
    $tab-background-gradient-disabled: color-stops(#eeeeee, #f4f4f4) !default;
    You can customize your application's built CSS by setting new values for these,

    We are not using themes, just straight CSS. I guess we should look into this. Thanks!

    How specifically can I get the Active tab to display bold and other tabs not bold?

    This behavior changed in 4.x but I was able to add the following css to revert back to 3.x style.

    .x-tab button {
    font-weight: normal;
    }
    .x-tab-active button {
    font-weight: bold;
    }

    This css no longer works in 4.2.
