    Unanswered: Understanding Ext.apply

    Hi,
I am trying to change the 'hideable' config of grid column on the fly, using
    Code:
    Ext.apply(Ext.getCmp('columnA'), {hideable:false})
    .

It works on the first go, however, if I change the 'hideable' config of the same column, next time, based on different condition, it breaks.

If I do an inspect element, I can see the hideable:false in its object, but, somehow, the column is still being shown in the header menu.

Please let me know if I am missing something or doing something wrong.
    Thanks,
    Ronz

Please don't post the same thread twice. I've removed the other one.

Umm, I don't get it. Is it that I posted the same post in Q&A section?
I post the same thread ,one in Ext:Q&A section and the other in Extiscussion section, but not within the same, twice.
    Thanks,
