Default Sencha animation in iBooksAuthor - Slow

Sencha animation in iBooksAuthor - Slow

I made a simple animation in Sencha Animator. It played properly on Safari, but when I exported it as a widget and brought it into iBooks Author, the animation was slow/sluggish. Did anyone experience this and does anyone have a solution? Thanks for your help.

Have you tried it on an actual device, using the iBooks Author preview feature? I have had limited success with animations running inside iBooks Author directly.

Yes, this slow animation happened when I previewed on iPad3.

arnebech, thanks for following up. It was actually a simple bouncing ball animation (2 bounces). I did not save it becuase it was so simple and didn't work well on the ipad. I was wondering if this was a common problem and if there was a "checkbox" that I didn't check for such movement from Sencha to ibooksA.

Any project should export fine to widget without any special settings.

I just tested a few animations in iBooks with an iPad 1 and they ran great with smooth animations.

Here is a iBooks Author project if you'd like to try it it out.

arnebech, thanks for following up and sorry, I was away, that's why the delay. I have seen this animation and tried it on ipad, but somehow my own animation was slow - tried a couple of times. I will try again with a different animation! Thanks again.
