Architect 2.2.0 Build 908 is out

Anyone already running 2.2.0 Build 894 should see a dialog prompting them to get new installers next time they launch Architect.

Build 908 fixes a variety of issues. Learn more here:

    http://docs.sencha.com/architect/2/#!/guide/whats_new

    and here:

    http://docs.sencha.com/architect/2/#!/guide/changelog

We have not yet turned on auto-update notification for Architect 2.1 users, that should be coming soon.

On launch Architect should be reaching out to a server to check for updates. Anything interesting about your internet connection?

    Still working on auto-update

We are testing a few fixes at the moment. Once we get those verified, we will turn on auto update from 2.1.

    Default License transfer question

    License transfer question

    Gil,

Thanks, if I do download and install a fresh copy of 2.2, is there a way for me to transfer my license to the new version? Or do I need to ultimately do an upgrade of the installed 2.1 copy.

Default Your 2.1 license is good for 2.2

Your 2.1 license is good for 2.2

You will just need re-enter your forum credentials the first time you launch Architect 2.2.

Also you can run 2.1 and 2.2 side-by-side (you will just need to change the app name if you are on a mac, or its location if on win/linux)
