    Demo Kitchen Sink not scrolling on Android 2.3.5 (HTC Desire HD)


    When using Android Browser (Android version 2.3.5 in HTC Desire HD) with Kitchen Sink Demo loaded from sencha.com there is no scrolling at all in any list or form.

    Did anyone check the Kitchen Sink Demos on Android 2.3.5?

    This is a show-stopper when trying to sell Apps based on Sencha Touch.

    I was trying to be simple and clear on the information I provided to this issue.

    I am using Sencha's link on their public website. Obviously it uses Sencha Touch 2.1.0.

    When using the Kitchen Sink samples there is no scrolling at all in none of the samples. I can't scroll the page, I can't scroll in carousel, I can't scroll in lists. It appears like no animation takes place. A tap on a button is unresponsive (not focus change or anything alike) but the event seems to be executed.

    All this happens on my HTC Desire HD with Android 2.3.5 using the Android Browser.

    Using the AVD from the Android SDK Tools with Android 2.3.3 things are working, as well as using other device like iPad2.

    I am using this HTC Desire HD for demos because it's a common wide spread kind of device. Maybe some configuration or any other software on this individual device is causing the problem. In this case I'm lost because I don't know how to figure out the cause and solve the problem (same as most of users won't be able I guess).

    Are there any hints for a way to tackle down the problem and solve it?

    After revisiting the configuration settings of the Android Browser I found what caused the problems.

    In Android Browser Settings the "Mobile view" must be enabled.

    It was disabled before and causing the described behaviour.
