    Default Title of chart axis doesn't change using setTitle method

    Title of chart axis doesn't change using setTitle method

    REQUIRED INFORMATION

    Ext version tested:
    • Ext 4.2.0.663

    Browser versions tested against:
    • IE9
    • FF19.0

    Description:
    • Chart's axis doesn't change using setTitle method, if title was initially empty

    Steps to reproduce the problem:
    • Create the Chart with empty title axis
    • Create the Button to change title
    • Click on the button

    The result that was expected:
    • The title of the axis appears

    The result that occurs instead:
    • The title of the axis is still empty

    Test Case:

    Code:
    Ext.onReady(function () {
        Ext.create('Ext.button.Button', {
            renderTo: Ext.getBody(),
            text: 'Try change title',
            handler: function() {
                Ext.getCmp('Chart1').axes.items[0].setTitle('Time');
            }
        });
        Ext.create('Ext.button.Button', {
            renderTo: Ext.getBody(),
            text: 'Change title',
            handler: function() {
                Ext.getCmp('Chart1').axes.items[0].setTitle('Time'); Ext.getCmp('Chart1').redraw();
            }
        });
        Ext.create("Ext.chart.Chart", {
            id: 'Chart1',
            renderTo : Ext.getBody(),
            height   : 400,
            width    : 800,
            axes : [{
                type           : "Numeric",
                position       : "bottom",
                fields         : ["time"],
                maximum        : 1440,
                minimum        : 480,
                majorTickSteps : 15
            }],
            store : {
                model : Ext.define(Ext.id(), {
                    extend : "Ext.data.Model",
                    fields : [{
                        name : "time"
                    }]
                }),
                autoLoad : true,
                proxy    : {
                    data : [],
                    type : "memory"
                }
            }
        });
    });

    HELPFUL INFORMATION

    Debugging already done:
    • none

    Possible fix:
    • Call Chart.redraw() method

    Additional CSS used:
    • only default ext-all.css

    Operating System:
    • Win7 Pro

    Not sure what the above test case is demonstrating, as far as I can see there's no chart.

    Hello Evan,

    My colleague has corrected the example. Now it does reproduce the problem.

    Could you, please, test it?
