    Default namespace problem on IE8

    namespace problem on IE8

    [Solved]

    Hi

    I was happy to try Ext: 4.2 when I found a strange thing in Internet Explorer 8 :

    I was unable to use the namespace.

    For Example, this tiny sample send a pop-up on fire-fox.
    But the Javascript crash on the assignation line.

    What have I done wrong ?

    Thank for any advice.

    HTML Code:
    <html>
        <header>
            <script type="text/javascript" src="ext.js"></script>
            <script type="text/javascript">
                Ext.onReady(function() {
                    Ext.ns("DoD.var");
                    DoD.var.urlRoot = 'foo';
                    alert(DoD.var.urlRoot);
                });
            </script>
        </header>
        <body>
        </body>
    </html>

    'var' is a reserved word, use something else.
