    Unanswered: Zooming the map image


    I am trying to implement Zoom feature on the map. I need to use 'crosshair' cursor. When I drag the cursor over the image, it should draw the rectangle on the mousedown event. When I release the mouse button, it will complete the rectangle and fire server side event to rebuild the map image. Is there any such example available? Or any suggestions?

    You might take a look at the DragTracker class that will track the mousedown/move/up actions on an element.

    Here's an example where the DragTracker is used to great effect:
