    Use the cls config and then inspect the DOM to see where the background color is coming from so you can override it using CSS

    Hi Mitchell,

    thanks for the reply,

    tried your suggestio (without using the cls config and goes directly to trace the background color)

    i found that the toggle button are wrapped inside the following div:
    Code:
    <div class="x-component-outer" id="ext-element-86">
    	html declaration for the toggle button is here
    </div>
    and here are the configuration of that "x-component-outer" css class:

    Code:
    border: 1px solid #061f31;
    border-top-color: #092e47;
    color: white;
    based on the css class name i assumed that this is the default css class that sencha use to wrapped a component and therefore a button will also have a white background ?

    bump..

    anyone having trouble with this or having idea to solve this problem??

    because currently i think everything derived from Ext.field.* will have this white background

    PS: and how do we resize this component?
    cause i'm trying to use the width and height yet its not working,
    i think it must be overwrittern by the default css yet again..
